What do we do?
What is it that we actually do?
Do you ever drive by our shop or see our ad's and wonder what the heck we actually do? How can a shop survive off simply making house keys all day? Well sit down and grab a snack because I'm about to fill you in.
1) We make keys! But not only house keys. Believe it or not we can make just about any key you bring to us. Garage keys, car keys (we will get more into this one in a few), file cabinet keys, mailbox keys, vending machine keys, skeleton keys, safe deposit keys, you name it.
2) Have a box/chest/safe you need to get in? This is the fun part of our job. (No, seriously, it is. There's a lot of heckling that happens between each other trying to get our hands on that lock.) So, do you remember that chest your Grandma has in her attic that is locked and has been locked for years? You've always wondered what was inside, but could never get it open with that bobbie pin like they do in the movies. Could there be old coins or just some old blankets inside? Or possibly those marbles she lost years ago....Well we can open it up for you. Old/new chests, safes, filing cabinets, if its got a lock on it, we will do everything in our ability to open it and make you a key.
3) Car keys-Nothing is worse than losing your car keys. Did your kid take them? Dog bury them in the backyard? Did you accidentally put them in the freezer? (I'm guilty of that one) Who knows, but unfortunately you can't wait any longer. Our experienced car technicians will read your cylinder, program your key (if necessary) and get you rolling again that day. Need a duplicate so you don't ever find yourself in that pickle? We have just about every key in stock and believe it or not this process only takes about 10-15 minutes all together. Even better, you don't even need an appointment.
4) Locked out of your home/car? Do yourself a favor and don't call that hack you find doing a quick Google search. Do your research and call someone with references and actual training to get you in your home or car safely.
5) Changing locks/hardware/rekeying- If you just moved into a new house, are a Landlord or a business owner and are in need of changing the current key to a new key or want to upgrade the hardware we can definitely help you. We carry the basic locks in stock and can typically get stock in next day if we don't have what you need. We do anything from basic deadbolts, knobs/levers, electronic locks, panic bars and even key fob systems.
6) Keyless Access systems-In the business world having to issue keys to all your employees can be a hassle. Not to mention, if someone leaves your business on terms that aren't agreeable and still have a key it can be worrisome. Keyless entry systems are something that can offer you security and ease and we got the guy here to talk you through it all!
7) Padlocks-All sizes and kinds. We can key most alike and/or help you find what you need.
8) Safes-We carry American Security and Gardall safes of all sizes and mechanics. We can also open most safes if you accidentally lost the key or combination as well as service most safes. However, there are some instances where we may refer you to a fellow Safe Shop.
