Why buy factory
Why do you need factory OEM keys?
And what the heck does OEM even mean?
Before I start, I just want to take a second and reflect on the old school days of vehicle keys and how spoiled we are today with the modernized conveniences developed. This comes with may aspects in this world but do you remember having two or even three keys for your car? (and having to deal with manual locks and windows.) Now we have the ability to start our cars from the comfort of our homes so we don't get cold waiting for our cars to warm up. We can lock/unlock the doors feet away and some cars even roll the windows down/up for you. Crazy.
So with all this cool technology, why would you want to risk compromising your vehicle and the conveniences?
Factory OEM means the part was produced or designed directly by the automotive manufacturer for your specific vehicle. Meaning the components are specifically designed for your vehicles requirements. So when you buy OEM you're receiving exactly what your vehicle requires. You don't want to potentially compromise that expensive computer you have in there by using parts not meant for it.
Aftermarket/Refurbished vs OEM
Take our advice, we've been around here for quite some time. As a family business we know safety and finances are important. We want to educate the best we can on what will be the best for you and your family. Here are some facts on why conscious drivers should opt for OEM parts:
Aftermarket parts do not last as long. This is just a known fact. OEM parts are designed to fit your vehicle and will hold up longer on the demand you place on them. Leading me to my second point......
The lower price tag. This may seem nice at the time, but 3 months down the road when your aftermarket remote/key randomly stops working you'll be wishing you spent that little extra for a factory part.
Aftermarket parts are typically designed to fit more than one vehicle. No risk compromising your finely tuned means of transportation.
Don't waste your time searching online for what you need. If your time is like mine, you need to budget it carefully. Don't waste your time looking for something that will likely end up being a waste. Let us do what we do best and provide you with the highest quality product for your vehicle.
Aftermarket parts actually have a high chance of failure when programing to your vehicle and once that key is cut you can not return the product. Don't waste your money.
Long story short, save your money, save your time and take care of your vehicle. Buy OEM parts. You may be able to save $20-30 dollars but in the long run it's not worth it.
